MY STORY

All behaviour is purposeful. Everything that arises can be a lesson if we allow it to be. Once this concept has been grasped, it becomes almost impossible to utter the words, “I’m bored” ever again.

Adopt a habit of lifelong learning. The curriculum of life is endless.

When we are no longer afraid of giving something our all for fear of not being able to achieve it, doors will open that will lead us further along the journey to becoming more in tune with ourselves.

When we give everything we’ve got to life and apply passion to whatever we’re doing, we simply cannot lose.

This, ultimately, comes down to attention and where we choose to place it. It comes down to energy. It comes down to mindset. And nothing will happen without action.

Will you use these words as a sign to grab hold of the wheel and take charge of your life or will you just move on to the next thing, pretending you haven’t read this far, shirking back, forever the victim rather than victor? We both know what you’re worth, and it’s not that.

Every possibility exists everywhere, all the time. The quality of our experience is determined by the direction with which we choose to apply our attention.

We are the gatekeepers of our experience.

The psychologist and leadership consultant, Stan Beecham, says that our relationship with fear is critical to what we will accomplish in our lives:

“It’s all about fear,” he says. “If you kill fear, you win. If you kill fear, you have your best year ever. If you kill fear, you train like a mad man. If you kill fear, you go to college for free. If you kill fear, you stand on the podium, you get paid, you have strangers walk up to you and call you by name. When fear dies, you begin to live.”

It is by stepping into resistance that we learn far more about ourselves than if we were to continue believing the limiting self-talk that broadcasts inside our head twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, telling us to not step outside our comfort zone and continue playing it safe.

Limiting self-talk that has likely been programmed by others who were merely projecting their own self-limiting beliefs. Limiting self-talk that may come from those who are merely projecting their own fears and insecurities onto your reality. Limiting self-talk that does not serve, nor belong, to you.

Building resistance into our lives is a surefire way to grow.

If you want change, ask yourself whether what you’re experiencing is going to get any better by doing what you are doing. Ask yourself honestly whether your current actions are making you revolve or evolve?

GET UP AND SHOW THE WORLD WHAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF. GET UP AND SHOW THE WORLD THE BEST PERSON YOU CAN BE. GET UP AND SHOW YOURSELF WHO REALLY IS THE CAPTAIN OF THIS SHIP.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND ACT ANYWAY.
