MY STORY

From here on in, look at everything you do; look at every choice you make, every thought you engage with as a tool that will either take you closer to, or further away from, your ideal self. Be mindful of how you manage yourself as the quality of these conditions will be fundamental to your success.

Are your choices either solidifying or diffusing the ideal version of yourself you hold in your mind?

How do you want to look back and feel about your life? What is it that you would hope to have done? Who is it that you really want to be? And when will you start?

This is not about chasing goals, as such; it is about developing a system that allows us to tap into our strengths to become more in tune with our best selves. It is about making the best of whatever situation we are currently in and understanding that we can achieve every day if we engineer our time deliberately.

Wherever you are now doesn’t have to be your final destination. It is well within your power to make changes that nourish and encourage in order to prevent falling into the trap of stagnation and judging ourselves based on the progress of someone else’s journey.

If you’re going to compare yourself to anything, compare yourself to where you started rather than where you want to go. To increase your life satisfaction and wellbeing, measure backwards rather than forwards—a concept illuminated by Dan Sullivan in The Gap and the Gain.

Making a decision to improve our mindset puts us on the front foot.

Focus on the process, not the goal.

You are free to make a decision—right now—that completely alters the path of your life. You have the power. You have the courage. You have the ability. Whatever condition you desire is waiting for your alignment. All it takes is a decision. So who is it you want to be? What is it you want to do?

Pick yourself up and start acting like the powerful individual you know exists within.

The world needs to see your energy. The world deserves to see your energy. Maximise your potential.
